During this week of class our task was to create a quiz using google forms and also an answer sheet.
I did not face much challenges this was more of a new experience for me and I will use this tool in my classroom.

The task given was to create a short movie using pictures and video.  I did not face any challenges because using movie maker was something I've done many times.

Creating a podcast

• Step One: Narrow Your Topic.
• Step Two: Download, Install, and Set Up Audacity.
• Step Three: Record and Edit Your Podcast In Audacity.
• Step Four: Tag and Export Your MP3 File In Audacity.
• Optional: Find Some Theme Music.

The challenges that I faced when creating my podcast was getting the background music to play on the same beat as my recording.  And also my final product had some glitches in it.  I didn't really over come my challenges 100% but I tried until it was almost perfect.

In the chart above there are two different triangles. The new version and the old one.

Two difference  between the old and the new version of the taxonomy are:  

1.In the old they use nouns and in the new they used verbs

2.They swapped the fifth and sixth levels

Strong learning objectives do not include vague or immeasurable terms for example:

How to Book mark  (www.wikihow.com/Use-Bookmarks-in-Google-Chrome)

    

    

1. Open up the page you want to add a bookmark to.
2. Find the star in the URL box.
3. Click the star. A box should pop up.
4. Choose a name for the bookmark. Leaving it blank will only show the icon for the site.
5. Choose what folder to keep it in. ...
6. Click Done when you're done. 

Challenges 

My challenegs are all simmilar to each other.  My phone has different features than a computer so I have to explore on my own to find out how to bookark.

How do I plan to use this

I usually do a lot of research so if I use information from different sources I'd boomark those pages so I can easily get back to them if I need to.

Reflection Two

Week 2 : Introduction to the internet and issues in media and technology

Task : Cooperative Learning. Groups Activity- Definition and Examples

• Netiquette, Internet vs World Wide Web
• Digital Native vs Digital Immigrants, Asynchronous vs Synchronous Communications.
• Google Search, Advance Search and Book marking
• Creative Commons, Open Educational Resources and Fair Use
• Viruses, Malware and Antivirus 

Challenges : Finding the definition of each term was a hassle because one word had several meanings for different topics

What did I learn new : I learned that etiquette doesn't only have to do with the way you carry yourself in different places but also on the internet

Task : How to create an E journal/ portfolio/ Blog, Writing Reflections and Blogging

Challenges : The features of the app on my phone was different so it was hard for me to understand or to even follow along with the teacher. I over came this with the help of my class mates.

Week 1: Gmail and Hotmail


Task: Create both email and gmail accounts and create a contact group for each.

Steps( by Marsh-Roberts 2017):

Go to www.gmail.com and www.live.com

Complete the general information

Sign into the email account created

Click on the dropdown menu/apps icon

Select contacts/people

Add each individual email using the "new - contacts and contacts group/list" feature

 Using Manage or More tab you may import contacts from another email account

Challenges I faced and how I overcame them.      

My biggest challenge was to save and create the contacts and group.
I went to YouTube,watched tutorials and also I did some tampering and found out how to .

How will I use this in my classroom.

I will create groups for my class to send assignments or notes to my students.


Role in Technolgy and Media

I've learned alot about the Role of Technology and Media in education.  It's main purpose is to add enhacement to the topic that is being brought across. Some of these media are :
