In the chart above there are two different triangles. The new version and the old one.


Two difference  between the old and the new version of the taxonomy are:  

1.In the old they use nouns and in the new they used verbs
2.They swapped the fifth and sixth levels




Strong learning objectives do not include vague or immeasurable terms for example:

State Objectives
General objective:  Students will be able to prepare cakes by the rubbed-in method.
Specific objectives: By the end of the lesson students will:
1.      Accurately list the main ingredients used in cake making in your exercise books.
2.      Explain accurately the correct proportions of fat and sugar to flour for the rubbed-in method without the use of the text book.


Select Methods, Media, , and Materials
Methods: Brief role play for introduction of what the lesson is about, group work and individual note taking.
Media: Text book page where they would find the list of ingredients for cake making for first part of the lesson.
Materials: Props for the role play (apron, whisk, mixing bowl, hair net, etc), text books and note books.
Utilize Media, Materials, and Methods
1.      Preview the materials: Have everything organized for role play and check ahead of class to make sure each student have their exercise and text book.
2.      Prepare the materials: What things need to prepare before the lesson?
3.      Prepare the environment: Setup the class according to the number of groups and also seat them where they can all see and hear the teacher.
4.      Prepare the learners: After the introduction (without mentioning the topic) ask questions to see if the students have an idea of the topic.
5.    Provide the learning experiences: Students will be able to use experiences from previous knowledge.
Require Learner Participation
Includes detailed methods for actively engaging all students for the lesson’s duration.
Starting from how long you will need for this whole lesson, It might be one class session, but it might be 5 class sessions.  In this period of time, how do you engage your students with the methods that you provide in the previous sections?
Evaluate & Revise
Evaluation methods for each of the following are included:

Teacher will observe the students and assist them if it’s needed.

Double check to make sure the textbook has all the information that is needed to complete the assignment.

Students and teacher does evaluation by asking questions about how effective the lesson was or how well do they understand what the teacher was teaching.
